There are few things more satisfying than walking into an establishment, no matter what it may be, without handing over any cash, credit cards, or monetary exchange unit of any sort–and be able to walk out with something of value. If one is able to repeat this process more than once in a single day, than the resulting pleasure is exponentialized.

Here’s the situation: Blockbuster online gives you three free movies at a time for a small fee every month. You can then bring these movies into the store, and for each one you bring in you get a *free* movie in return. Score.

However on this particular occasion, there was an even more special perk attached to this deal–by giving the Blockbuster receipt over to the newly opened Chipotle restaurant no more than 50 ft away, one can receive a *free* burrito as well. Double score.

Dinner and a movie, all *free* just like that.

Aand, as if that weren’t enough, there’s an additional bonus here. By showing my student ID, which I hope to hold onto for as long as I live, I got a *free* drink at said Chipotle as well.

Finally, to top it off I took a chunk of napkins and stuffed it into my brown Chipotle paper bag as well.

It’s a wonder how I’m in so much debt..

Incidentally one of the movies I rented was Fast Food Nation, a movie that depicts, among other things, in very graphic detail, the Aushwitz death camp for cows.

Makes me wish I had gotten the chicken soft tacos instead..though Chipotle promises their animals are treated in the most humane of conditions.

I certainly didn’t taste any poop on the meat.
