Essentially in this world of dating and relationships of ours, there are certain traits that can easily be characterized by numbers that women would prefer her partner to be at least at her level, and preferably much above:

*age
*height–possibly more important than age, just because it’s noticeable from the start
*weight/strength–same as above
*maturity
*income–yup
*penis size

One thing however that women wouldn’t mind a guy lacking in behind her is in looks–not that this doesn’t help–but he does have to be within a certain range of her. The same goes with intelligence, but that is much harder to measure objectively.

The more a woman “has” in any of the above however, the less it matters if the guy “excels” in that area–i.e. a 40 y/o is more willing to go out with a 36 y/o than a 26 y/o with a 22 y/o..or a 6′ woman is more likely to be with a 5′11 guy than a 5′5 woman with a 5′4 woman.

And finally, any number of the above can be offset by another factor that a guy “excels” in, i.e. a short guy can get a taller woman if he’s insanely rich–though generally speaking, a lot of money can offset quite a bit of other “downsides” in a guy.

Essentially then, we are the products of our evolutionary states, where our animal instincts tell us what we are physically attracted to, and our societal states dictate the intangibles..
